Helen Harris

Helene Harris, LCSW, obtained her Master’s in Psychology at the Julius-Maximillians University in Würzburg, Germany in 2002 and her Master’s in Social Work at the University of New England in 2016. Helene is a former military spouse. She has been with Helen’s Haven CAC for over five years as a Child and Family Therapist and Victim Advocate. Helene utilizes TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), PCIT (Parent Child Interaction Therapy), as well as play therapy techniques to help children and their non-offending family members heal from the trauma they’ve experienced. Helene is fluent in German and Russian and has a basic knowledge of French.
